Well, can you believe it, already a weeks since Safiya Karite launched.  What an exciting week it was.  Filled with visits, orders and potential new customers.  We find ourselves enjoying a weekend filled with quietness and rain.  Boy do I love the rain.  I must tell you, on this quiet day, I spent it making videos for Youtube.  Below you will find links to those videos and maybe, just maybe you find one of them if not all, interesting.  This video is about sample sizes of our product now being available for purchase.

Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, I would like to introduce you to Safiya Karite.

Safiya meaning – pure , and Karite – being the name of the tree from which the shea butter nuts fall.

For us Safiya Karite describes us best,  because our main ingredient in 99% of our skincare is Raw unrefined Shea Butter. As we were getting down to the wire last night, I didn’t think we would be able to launch.  But, at 8:30 p.m tonight. February 20, 2010 we did it.

Your just going to love every product we have.  made natural and with special attention to the way they perform.  We’ve tried to pack them with ALL natural ingredients and formulate them in love.  Yesterday we celebrated our sixth year in the natural skincare/hair care industry and we are excited and happy to say that we made it through.  We’ve come A LONG way and we’ve got a long way to go, but as of today, we can say that we have realized yet another dream with our natural hair care line coming to fruition.

Well, I’ve been working long hours with no days off, trying to meet my dead line and launch the new line of products.  With just a few hours left before my launch date and I think we’re going to have to take a little longer to fine tone some of the entries.  We so want to make sure that everything looks nice and gives off the feeling of encouragement and professionalism.

Obviously just like any other web business, as time passes the website evoles, so we hope that you will find our website both user friendly and filled with products that encourage you to begin trying and using natural hair care products.

Hello everyone,  stopping by to let you all know that the count down has officially begun.  We are now 15 days away from the Grand Opening and  the Safiya K family is VERY excited.  We’ve finished the website and blog and just today ordered our many supplies.  From packaging to raw ingredients, to business cards.  but we’re not done yet, we’ve still got some more ordering to do.  Boy O Boy we are thrilled to finally be this close to launching our line.  Its so exciting to watch this dream of ours unfold.

Next week the parade of packages should start arriving to our home headquarters and we can’t wait to dig in and start creating.
